NO ONE, and I mean NO. ONE. can sing as beautifully as Poornima. I have never loved classical music like this before. The way she sang it made it sound so modern and appealing, sitting in the cold theatre, feeling her music warm my bones right through to my soul made me want to live life, experience the unknown, take risks, DO something. It sounds crazy but it was SO uplifting and fantastic. Like S said: "it sounds like it came from her heart".
The performance tonight was just lovely.
